Landscape workshop
Our landscape workshop is set amongst the rolling hills, streams and woodland of the New Forest National park.
The venue encompasses rolling grass and tree covered hills and mature woodland, providing good opportunities to capture some stunning views as well as closer detail and woodland photography. Depending on the time of year and subject to the weather, we also try to include sunset, so that students can include this into the landscape.
The workshop is limited to six attendees and you will be supported throughout by at least
two tutors.
The workshop will examine:
Camera settings
Composition
White balance (using presets and setting custom white balance)
Focussing
Exposure and ISO
Infra-red for landscape (an introduction into this interesting genre)
HDR and bracketing
Focus stacking
Panoramas
and using filters
This workshop is perfect for beginners through to
more experienced photographers using DSLR's,
Mirrorless and high specification bridge cameras.
The workshop duration is 7 hours and does involve
some walking, uneven ground and gentle slopes.
We can supply some loan equipment and filters if
required. We also provide help guides to assist
students understand some of the processes and
keep for reference post workshop.
Seascape workshop
Our seascape workshop is set on the south coast in
West Sussex. The venue encompasses harbour views,
as well as wider coastal vistas. We always try to ensure
we capture a period of low tide and if possible sunset,
to capture dramatic views
The workshop is limited to six attendees and you will
be supported throughout by at least two tutors.
The workshop will examine:

Composition
White balance (using presets and setting custom white balance)
Focussing
Exposure and ISO
HDR and bracketing
Focus stacking
Panoramas
Using lens balls for an alternative perspective
Long exposures
and using filters
This workshop is perfect for beginners through to more experienced photographers using DSLR's, Mirrorless and high specification bridge cameras. The workshop duration is 7 hours and does involve some walking and uneven ground. We can supply some loan equipment and filters if required. We also provide help guides to assist students understand some of the processes and keep for reference post workshop.
Infra-red Photography workshop
Our Infra-red Photography workshop is set in West Sussex.
The workshop will introduce students to Infra-red photography, which is an ideal genre when the
sun is out. Whether you are new to this or a bit more experienced, the workshop leads you through
setting up your camera and with a post course video, how to conduct basic edits.
The workshop is limited to six attendees and you will be supported throughout by at least two tutors.
The workshop will examine:

Composition
White balance (an absolute must if shooting in JPEG)
Focussing
Exposure and ISO
Focus stacking
Panoramas
Using IR filters on DSLR's/Mirrorless cameras, and converted camera
This workshop is perfect for beginners through to more experienced
photographers using DSLR's and Mirrorless cameras. The workshop
duration is 7 hours and does involve some walking and gentle slopes.

provide help guides to assist attendees understand some of the processes
and keep for reference post workshop.
